Three dacoits killed in police shootout in Shiekhupura, 2 flee

SHEIKHUPURA (92 News) – At least three dacoits were killed two others managed to escape during a police shootout at Lahore-Shiekhupura road near Qila Sattar Shah early on Friday. Police officials said that the dacoits were hiding and when they the police coming they opened indiscriminate firing. In retaliatory firing by the police, the police arrested three injured dacoits while two others managed to escape. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital, who succumbed to injuries and died. Police seized weapons from the dacoits.
