Three-day anti-polio drive begins today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A three-day anti-polio campaign kicks off in Punjab, Balochistan, FATA and Gilgit today. In Punjab, 18.4 million children below the age of five years would be administered polio drop. As many as 44,654 teams have been constituted to achieve the target. In Sindh, four-day national immunization campaign of Polio will start in Larkana and Sukkur districts today. Nearly 2.5 million children in Balochistan while more than forty thousand children in Gilgit would be administered anti polio drops. In FATA, total of over one million children below the age of five years will be vaccinated.
