Three-day celebrations of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Urs begins

LAHORE (92 News)- The three-day celebrations of the 973rd annual Urs of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Sheikh Ali Hajveri, known as Data Ganj Bakhsh have begun from Saturday in Lahore. Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar formally inaugurated the celebrations of the Urs after offering Fateha and covering the wreath at the shrine. The shrine was also giving a holy bath. The police officials said that fool proof security arrangements have been made for the Urs while the Punjab government said that it is providing best possible facilitates to the visitors. Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Bin Usman Sheikh Ali Hajveri was a great saint of Islam who influenced thousands of people to embrace Islam during his life.
