Three injured by Indian unprovoked firing along LoC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – At least three innocent civilians including two women were injured when Indian border forces initiated unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) to target civil population. In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian forces targeted civilian areas along LoC in Battal, Hot Spring and Khuiratta sectors. Resultantly, three civilians including two women namely Saba Azad 24 years and Nagina Aqsad 36 years old received injured in the firing. Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian ceasefire violations and targeted those posts which initiated unprovoked firing inflicting substantial damage on them. Indian forces have carried out more than 70 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary in first month of this year which resulted in martyrdom of one innocent civilian and injuries to five others. The unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing since last year when its forces committed more than 1,900 ceasefire violations.
