Three injured in unprovoked Indian firing on the Working Boundary

SIALKOT (92 News) – At least three Pakistani civilians were injured as intense and heavy exchange of fire in Harpal and Chuprar sectors on the Working Boundary. In a statement issued by the ISPR, Pakistan Rangers befittingly responded to Indian firing. Pakistani Rangers befittingly responded to unprovoked Indian firing and targeted Indian posts inflicting heavy casualties. On Pakistani side, five civilians were injured due to unprovoked Indian firing. Since October 21, four civilians have embraced martyrdom while 21 injured due to unprovoked Indian firing along the working boundary. Pakistan had summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner to the foreign office and strong protest was lodged with him over the recent unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian troops at the working boundary in Phuklian and Chaprar sectors. The violations had resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians including one and a half years old innocent baby girl. Six civilians were also injured as a result of the Indian shelling. It was conveyed to the Indian side that it should investigate the incident and share the findings with Pakistan, instruct its troops to respect the Ceasefire in letter and spirit and refrain from intentionally targeting the villages and maintain peace on the Working Boundary.
