SRINAGAR (KMS) – In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), police arrested three Kashmiri youth in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, on Tuesday. The police arrested the youth identified as Mujeeb Shamas, Tanveer Ahmed Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmed Sheikh – all residents of Mir Mohallah Hajin – during house raids. The police claimed that the youth had hoisted Pakistani flags in the main Hajin market. Meanwhile, top civil and military leadership in Pakistan has once again rejected India’s any unilateral moves on the Kashmir dispute, saying that human rights violation perpetrated by Modi-led fascist Indian government in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have increased manifold since August 5 last. Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a statement, said that the Indian government had unleashed a reign of terror and fear against innocent Kashmiris after repealing Kashmir-specific Article 370 in violation of the UN Charter on August 5, 2019. He said that India’s provocations at the Line of Control (LoC) were aimed at diverting the world’s attention from its atrocities in the occupied territory. Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, addressing a ceremony at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, said that India had once again threatened regional peace by illegally abrogating the IIOJK’s special status. While making it clear that Pakistan rejects any unilateral decision on the Kashmir dispute, the COAS made a mention of the famous quotation of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein and is part of our faith. General Bajwa said that Pakistan was fully equipped and prepared to respond to any Indian misadventure with full might.
