Three-member inquiry commission formed for implementation of Faizabad sit-in review case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The federal government on Wednesday formed a three-member inquiry commission on implementation of the Faizabad sit-in review case.

The commission will have the power to summon the former army chief, prime minister and chief justice who could be arrested on their failure to appear before the commission.

During the hearing of the Faizabad sit-in review case, Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa remarked that the court will witness the work of the commission for two weeks and will express its opinion on the matter. "Everyone knows who is doing everything, but no one dares to name it," he observed.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing until January 22.
