Three-member tribunal hears PSL spot fixing case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The cricketers involved in Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot fixing case were presented before the tribunal on Monday.

 

Suspended cricketer Sharjeel Khan was presented before Pakistan Cricket Board’s investigation team while Khalid Latif could not go due to illness. 

 

The three-member tribunal constituted to investigate the spot fixing case is headed by Justice (r) Asghar Haider and includes Tauqeer Zia and Waseem Bari.

 

The lawyers of the cricketers are also helping in the case. The tribunal decided that the cricketers would be given time to respond in the case. Sharjeel Khan will submit his reply by May 5. 

 

The PCB would issue its statement on April 14 while the tribunal will begin final hearings from May 15. 

 

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will jointly hold the investigations against the cricketers involved in Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot fixing case, according to sources.
