Three murder convicts hanged in Sargodha

SARGODHA (92 News) – As many as three death-row prisoners convicted for triple murder were executed in Sargodha on early Tuesday morning.

As per details, three convicts Yaqoob, Ghulam Rasool and Imran were hanged in Sargodga Jail. The convicts had killed three people during a robbery back in 2008.

The Anti-Terrorism Court had awarded death sentence to the executed killers in 2010.

Pakistan lifted the de-facto moratorium on death penalty on December 17 last year, a day after Taliban gunmen attacked a school in Peshawar killing 134 students and 19 adults.
