Three officers among four soldiers martyred in IED blast in Kharkamar

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Three officers and a jawan of Pak Army were martyred in an IED blast in Kharkamar, North Wazirstan on Friday. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, terrorists had targeted a military vehicle through an IED planted on the road. Four soldiers were also injured in the blast. The martyred officers include Lt Col Raashid Karim Baig of Karimabad, Hunza, Major Moeez Maqsood Baig of Karachi, Captain Arifullah of Lakki Marwat and Lance Havaldar Zaheer of Chakwal. It is the same area where forces had conducted search operations and arrested few facilitators of terrorists. During last one month, 10 security personnel have been martyred, while 35 injured.
