Four officials martyred as bikers open fire on Rangers’ vehicle in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Four officials embraced martyrdom when bikers opened fire on Rangers’ vehicle in Ittehad Town on Friday.

The martyred officials are Akhtar Ali, Ishtiaq and Qasim, while another official was injured and taken to hospital.

The security forces have besieged the area and launched a search operation.

DG Rangers Mag-Gen Bilal Akbar said that their morale was high. He said that the terrorists had come to attack a mosque, but opened fire on the Rangers when they stopped them.

“We have already launched an operation against terrorists and will again launch it,” he maintained.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah phoned the DG Rangers and expressed grief over the incident.
