11 security officials martyred, 13 injured in Swat suicide blast

SWAT (92 News) – Eleven security officials were martyred and 13 others injured in a suicide blast in Kabal on Saturday. According to the ISPR, the suicide attack was carried out in the sports area of an army unit. The injured have been shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital. Sources said the suicide bomber blew himself up as soldiers were playing a volleyball match that was being watched by a number of local civilians. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly condemned the attack. In a statement, he prayed for the martyrs and early recovery of injured. He said that the coward enemy cannot fight with their valiant soldiers and such cowardly acts cannot deter their resolve to eliminate terrorism. The prime minister said the war against terrorism will continue till the elimination of the last terrorist from the country.
