Three soldiers martyred, 4 terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Three soldiers were martyred while four terrorists killed when security forces launched an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan Agency on Thursday. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the security forces had launched the IBO against terrorists involved in an attack on security forces on September 12 as well as ambush on a security forces convoy during December 2017, which resulted in the martyrdom of Lieutenant Moeen. All four terrorists, including operational level terrorist Aftab Parakay, were killed in the operation. Terrorists were fully armed and gave tough resistance. In exchange of the fire, Naib Subedar Nazir Ahmed Chandio, Sepoy Fakhar and Sepoy Amir of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom. The area has been cleared as a result of the operation.
