Three terrorists killed, above 50 held in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) have on Thursday gunned down three terrorists during an encounter in Korangi Mehran Town area of Karachi. As per details, on a tip off, the CTD conducted a targeted operation in Korangi Mehran Town area of Karachi and shot dead three terrorists while a CTD officials sustained injuries. According to police, the killed terrorists belonged to a banned organization. Weapons and hand grenades were recovered from their possession. On the other hand, police carried out search operation in Baloch Colony’s Dada Bhai Town and Juneijo Town and detained 35 persons, while 16 persons including two Afghan nationals were nabbed in from city’s Sadr area. Police have launched investigation from the arrested suspects.
