KARACHI (92 News) – Three terrorists belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were arrested from different areas on Saturday. The police and the SIU jointly launched an operation in Maripur and arrested Muhammad Usman. Two hand grenades, a pistol and rounds were seized from the terrorist. He had also brought explosive material from Quetta in 2013 and given it to Abdur Rahman who was killed in an encounter with the police in 2015. New Karachi SHO Irfan Asif told 92 News that two suspects tried to flee in a vehicle after being stopped at a picket. He said that the police chased and arrested the accused who were identified as Muhammad Sultan and Abdur Rahman. Three rocket launchers, a TT pistol around and a magazine have been recovered from the accused. He said that the arrested people are active terrorists of the TTP and were planning an attack.
