Three-year-old Hareem Fatima’s murder case registered in Kohat

KOHAT (92 News) - A case of three-year-old Hareem Fatima, who allegedly was murdered after being allegedly sexually assaulted, has been registered in Kohat district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.

According the reports, Hareem Fatima girl was sexually assualted before being brutally killed in Kohat. A local resident of Kohat, residing in Khattak Colony, lodged a complaint with police, stating that his minor daughter Hareem Fatima went out of the house to play with other children but unfortunately did not return.

The child was found dead later near a nullah outside the colony she resided in. After being informed of the incident, the police sent the body for autopsy which confirmed that she had been sexually assualted before being murdered.

DIG Kohat visited the crime scene as investigators collected evidence to examine it forensically. A post-mortem report into the incident revealed that the minor girl was strangulated.

The IG KP while taking notice of the incident directed the concerned officials to expedite the probe and arrest the culprits involved in it as soon as possible.
