ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister's Special Representative for Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that the time has come to stop the bloodshed in occupied Palestine state and Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir.

Speaking to the journalists on Tuesday, the special assistant said that Kashmir and Palestine are the problems of the Muslim Ummah. "The foreign minister will represent the people of Pakistan at the United Nations. Pakistan will continue to play its role with regard to the Muslim Ummah, Palestine and Kashmir," he added.

Tahir Ashrafi said that the nation will observe Solidarity Day with Palestinians on Friday. He also mentioned that the day is being observed to strongly condemn Israeli atrocities against unarmed Palestinians.

He further said that Pakistan is effectively highlighting the Israeli violence against Palestinians at international fora and also engaging with Muslim countries including the OIC on the matter.
