Tit-for-tat response as Pakistan decides to ban telecast of IPL matches

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – In response to ban telecast of Pakistan Super League 4 matches in India, Pakistan has decided to ban the broadcasting of Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in Pakistan. Sources said that a summary has been sent to the federal cabinet for approval. After the approval, the IPL matches will be banned in Pakistan. The summary has also requested the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulation Authority (PEMRA) to ensure the ban on broadcasting of the IPL matches. The Pak-India tension has started becoming visible in cricket. The ban has been imposed keeping in view Indian ban on broadcasting of PSL matches.
