TLP ends 'Pakistan Bachao March' after successful talks with govt

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) ended the Pakistan Bachao March after successful talks with the government.

Talking to the media on Saturday, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that a strategy had been decided to curb the blasphemy incidents. A joint committee has been formed in this regard.

He said that a letter would be written to the US Congress over the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui. "Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has assured the TLP of a decrease in the prices of the POL products on July 15," he added.

TLP leader Shafique Amini said that their manifesto is to make the life of the poor easy. "We hope that we will advance on the basis of all assurances," he added.

According to the agreement, a filtration system will be installed to remove the indecent content from the social media. Urdu will be further promoted as official language.
