LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that today Pakistan has become the weakest economy in South Asia. Addressing a press conference with Marriyum Aurangzeb and Uzma Bukhari to the media on Saturday, he alleged that the government's majority had been turned into minority in the National Assembly. "We will protest vigorously if the government did not stop rigging," he said. Ahsan Iqbal said that revengeful attitude was being adopted towards Punjab. "Wasim Akram Plus has applied the reverse gear of the progress of Punjab," he maintained. He alleged that the ministers were making the institutions controversial through their statements. "Nawaz Sharif's address to the APC is representation of the sentiments of the PML-N workers," he added. The PML-N leader said that record power projects were executed during the PML-N tenure. "We put the dead economy on way to progress. We took the growth rate from three to six. Today we have reached the minus growth rate," he added. He said that one-party fascist system was being created in the country. "An attempt to arrest Shehbaz Sharif is a state terrorism to suppress the voice of the opposition," he added.
