ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that today the parliament has buried the propaganda of the opponents of the country. Talking to media after the approval of the Services Acts Amendment Bills in the National Assembly on Tuesday, she said that accountability is also part of the national interest. “If a person has not done anything wrong, he should not worry,” she said. Firdous Ashiq Awan paid tributes to all political parties, saying that the parties stood for the country by ignoring personal interests over national security matters. “It is time to advance the reconciliation process to bring the people out of problems,” she said. She said that the people would be provided a relief this year. To a question, she said that uncertain situation should not be created with regard to the heads of national institutions. “Pakistan cannot be secure without transparency. It was the legislation of the extreme national interest.” Firdous Ashiq Awan asked the opposition to move toward the constructive opposition. “The opposition should not delay the bills associated with the common man,” she said.
