Today people are paying price for puppet and selected rule: Bilawal Bhutto

GARHI KHUDA BAKHSH (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that today the people are paying price for the puppet and the selected rule.

Addressing a gathering on the 14 death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto on Monday, he said that today the people are carrying the burden of the incompetent prime minister.

He said that sometime Chaudhary and sometime Nisar were used to ccarry out attacks on democracy. "The vote of the people was looted and democracy was snatched," he maintained.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP had introduced the 18th amendment and gave all powers to the parliament. "The problems will increase if Pakistan will continue to be run under the slavery of the IMF. Only the PPP can steer the people out of the crisis," he maintained.

He said that the people are sinking in the tsunami of inflation. "Poverty and unemployment have reached at the historic low-level. Farmers are forced to commit suicide because they have to arrange DAP and Urea," he added.

Denying any deal with anyone, the PPP chairman said that their deal is with the graveyard of martyrs and people. "The departure of the selected government is not very far. Workers should prepare themselves as the next election will be theirs. The next prime minister and the Punjab chief minister will be from the PPP," he maintained.

Speaking on the occasion despite his illness, PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari said that the PPP had always served the people and Pakistan. "We pray that our end should be while serving the masses. To be poor forever is not the destiny of Pakistanis. Bilawal Bhutto will change the destiny of the masses," he declared.
