ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said that today the world had witnessed the worst horse-trading. Talking to the media after the failure of the no-confidence motion against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Thursday, he said: “The worst horse-trading was done during the secret voting. They sold out their votes within half an hour.” He announced that all parties would point out their senators who sold out their conscience in the no-confidence motion. “We will call the all parties conference next week.” Shehbaz Sharif said that the opposition parties would protest during each session of the Senate. Speaking on the occasion, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani should morally resign. He announced they would not spare the senators who stabbed their parties in the back. “We will introduce reforms in the Senate for the conduct of fair elections,” he said. The PPP chairman said that the opposition is united. “We will continue our struggle in the Senate. We have won in this defeat,” he declared. Bilawal Bhutto said that today the puppet government had done cruelty. “I salute Mir Hasil Bizanjo. We will continue our struggle,” he added. Mir Hasil Bizanjo thanked the opposition for nominating him for the Senate chairman. “I have not been defeated, but won in reality. We will expose all these forces in the next APC. I won the time when 64 senators supported me in the open vote,” he said. Bizanjo said that they would not desist from their stand. “The opposition parties will continue to struggle until the supremacy of the parliament,” he added.
