ToRs issue could not be resolved in parliamentary committee: Aitzaz Ahsan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the ToRs issue could not be resolved in the parliamentary committee. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the PPP should also make some decision with regard to the protest of the opposition parties after Eid. He said that though the prime minister’s name was not directly in the Panama Papers, but it was indirectly. Aitzaz Ahsan said that the government wanted to prolong the ToRs issue. “The opposition showed flexibility and it is ready to withdraw two ToRs,” he said. Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family were not ready for accountability. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Sharif family will have to be accountable for the Panama Leaks.
