Torture case: IG Sindh among 11 officers declared guilty of contempt of court

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court has declared 11 police officers, including IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali, of contempt of court in the police torture case.

The court rejected their plea for an unconditional apology.

It said that the officers had deliberately violated sanctity of court and created hurdles in justice.

“The officers harassed and injured the people. They also threatened the judges,” it added.
