Toshakhana probe: Imran Khan terms NAB notices issued to him as illegal

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan, quoting the NAB Amendment Ordinance, has termed the notices sent to him as illegal and exceeding from powers.

In reply to the notices, Imran Khan wrote that it was not crime just to keep gifts. "It has not been informed in the notice whether I am being summoned as an accused or witness. As per the NAB Amendment Ordinance 2022, it has not been told that what is the nature of the crime," he maintained.

Imran Khan said the NAB former chairman had disclosed that he was being pressurized. "It is just an accident that he has been issued notice after the resignation of the NAB chairman," he added.

He demanded that the NAB should immediately withdraw the notice.
