ISLAMABAD 992 News) – Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said difficult financial decisions were made to rid the nation of seventy-one years old problems. In his tweet, the special assistant said tat the government has taken timely and bold decisions for payment of loans and establishing economic discipline during the last sixteen months. She also said difficult administrative and financial decisions were made to rid the nation of seventy-one years old problems. She said Prime Minister Imran Khan is aware of the problems being faced by people. Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government has given the package of seven billion rupees to provide relief to masses through Utility Stores. She said further steps will be taken for welfare of general public in days to come. Earlier, Fridous Ashiq Awan has termed the flour crisis as negative propaganda. Talking to the media on Sunday, she said that flour is available in Punjab, but Sindh government’s negligence had created such conditions there. She asked the Sindh government to expedite the wheat supply. “The prime minister has directed to supply 400,000 tons of wheat to the Sindh government She said that the wheat stock should be shifted to flour mills in Sindh so that the prices be reduced. “The government and the allies are on the same page on the agenda of public welfare,” she said.
