Tourists throng Murree to witness eye-catching view of snowfall

MURREE (92 News) – Hundreds of thousands tourists thronged Murree to witness the eye-catching view of snowfall. They enjoyed the snowfall throughout the day and visited the Mall Road at night. Long queues of vehicles were seen on all roads of the city. Motorists have been advised to drive slowly. Parking has been prohibited along both sides of the roads. All the hotels, guesthouses, flats and official residences have been occupied by tourists. Sources said that the Galiyat mountains have received four-foot snowfall, while Abbottabad-Murree Road is closed. Heavy machinery is trying to open the blocked road. People have been trapped in their houses. Power and water supply and mobile service have been suspended, creating emergency-like situation in the area. Thousands of people have badly been affected by the snowfall.
