Toxic liquor kills five in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Five more people including three brothers were killed after consuming toxic liquor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s provincial capital on Tuesday, the latest case of deadly alcohol poisoning in the country. The ill-fated incident happened in Peshawar’s Swati Phatak TV colony area where a ceremony was organized during which they consumed liquor and fell sick after which they were rushed to hospital where five of them including three brothers died. The deceased were identified as Nasir, Qaiser, Vicky, Raja and Kamal, while one person is reportedly in critical condition.
