Flour millers, traders announce strike against withholding tax
LAHORE (92 News) – Traders have announced a shutter-down strike against withholding tax on cheques on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Flour Mills Association has announced a strike against Sales and Withholding taxes on July 11.
Talking to the media on Monday, Pakistan Flour Mills Association Asim Raza demanded the government immediately withdraw the notification of the sales and withholding taxes.
On the other hand, the PTI has announced support for the strike.
Meanwhile, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has summoned the FBR officials and traders' leaders for talks.
