Traders convene countrywide convention after talks fail with government over withholding tax

LAHORE (92 News) – Traders from across the four provinces have started reaching Lahore after traders gave the call for a convention following failure of talks with the government over abolishing withholding taxes on Tuesday.
As per details, the traders will also consult over the call for a shutter-down strike across the country from August 1. Sources say the Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar will once again try to convince the trade union leaders today.
