Train accident: Major Adil's funeral prayers offered in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – One of the Army officers who died in the train accident near Gujranwala on Monday, Major Muhammad Adil Sharif's funeral prayers were offered in in Cavalry Ground on Friday morning. As per details, the body of the martyr was shifted to Lahore early in the morning, where after the funeral prayers, it was laid to rest in Shuhada Graveyard. A large number of people including Lahore Corps Commander Naveed Zaman, GOC Major General Tariq Aman, Rangers Punjab Director General (DG) Major General Umer Farooq Barqi attended the funeral prayer. The martyre was given guard of honour before he was laid to rest.
