LAHORE (92 News) – The trains are being delayed for many hours across the country due to the ongoing protest. As per details, the ongoing protest, against the Supreme Court (SC) verdict in Asia Bibi case, has badly affected the timings of trains across Pakistan. The Karakoram Express was not travelled from two days, while Pakistan Express, Allama Iqbal Express, Millat Express, Tezgam and Karachi express were delayed for five hours. According to details, rail service between Lahore and Faisalabad has been suspended while scheduled departure of Jaffar Express from Peshawar to Quetta has also been canceled. The passengers faced difficulties due to the delay and suspension of trains’ schedule. Moreover, routes of several trains have also been changed in the wake of security concerns. On October 31, Supreme Court (SC) had acquitted Asia Bibi, a Christian woman who was facing death sentence for blasphemy, and ordered to release her on immediate basis. Following the decision, the protesters took to the streets and blocked main roads in different cities.
