Transparency International moves SC for investigations against 700 Pakistanis included in Pandora Papers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Transparency International Pakistan has filed a constitutional petition in the Supreme Court, seeking investigations against 700 Pakistanis included in the Pandora Papers.

In the petition, the federal government, the FBR, the FIA, the NAB and State Bank of Pakistan have been made the party.

It has been stated that it was a crime to conceal offshore companies from the institutions. The petition demanded that proofs should be demanded from the people in the Pandora Papers as how the money was transferred to offshore companies.

It demanded that the court should order to freeze undeclared assets abroad besides ordering the return of assets made through corruption.
