A two-member bench, comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard a petition challenging constitution of a commission by a special court hearing the high treason case for recording statement of Musharraf. During the hearing, the court asked Musharraf’s lawyer Barrister Salman Safdarto travel to Dubai and return with the former president, assuring that the high security would be provided to Musharraf after his return to Pakistan. Barrister Salman said, “We have to get the orders from special court and the special court is inactive currently.” However, the court ordered to the former military general’s lawyer to present travel details and adjourned the hearing till the third week of December.
