Treasury, opposition members scuffle in AJK Legislative Assembly
MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) - The treasury and the opposition members scuffled with each other in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Monday.
The government members protested against the allegation of giving money to Imran Khan. Later, Law Minister Faheem Rabbani attacked former prime minister Raja Farooq Haider with the mike.
The opposition members said that the attitude of Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has turned bitter after talks about a no-confidence motion against him.
Opposition Leader Chaudhary Latif Akbar said that he had been accused of getting medical treatment through the Zakat fund. He demanded a probe into the matter.
Later, the session was adjourned till 10am on Tuesday.
After the incident, workers of the opposition parties took to streets and chanted slogans against the government.
