FAISALABAD (92 News) – Appellate tribunal on Wednesday has declared Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) candidate Imran Sher Ali, brother of Abid Sher Ali, ineligible to contest upcoming general election from PP-117 constituency. Petitioner alleged that Imran Sher Ali is defaulter of Rs5.5 million of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). He requested that the brother of former minister is defaulter, therefore, he should not be allowed to contest the election. Subsequently, the appellate tribunal accepted the objection raised in the petition on Imran Sher Ali and declared the PML-N candidate ineligible for the polls and rejected his nomination papers.
