ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former president Asif Ali Zardari said that tried for two years to save democracy but I don’t think the current government of PTI want it to be saved. The former president addressed the all parties conference (APC) first via video link. He asked the APC participants to devise a way to strengthen democracy and take it forward. “Democracy comes first, then prosperity,” he added. "We want to remove this government and bring back democracy. We want to save Pakistan.”
Zardari lauds Maryam's resolve, commitment
The PPP co-chairman said that APC should been called earlier and added that there is no need to be frightened. He said that Maryam Nawaz has faced several hardships and he lauded her resolve and commitment. "My solidarity is with Maryam Nawaz Sharif; she is like my daughters,” he said. Asif Ali Zardari said that the present rulers are not familiar with the norms of politics and termed them political dwarves.
