Truth came out after a long trial and our innocence proved: Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz said that truth has come out after a long trial and as a result, innocence of the Sharif family has proved.

Talking to the media after her acquittal in the Avenfield reference, she said that the lie ends in the same fashion as it ended today. "Your lie, allegation and character assassination have been revealed before the nation," she said, while addressing PTI chairman Imran Khan.

Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan had played with the country while playing with the people. "Nawaz Sharif will also return to the country soon. Imran Khan is the beneficiary of the Panama Papers. He is a liar, conspirator and foreign-funded," she added.

After her acquittal, Maryam Nawaz phoned her father Nawaz Sharif and said that they had been successful. "Allah Almighty will bring you back to the homeland," she added.

The PML-N vice-president said that Imran Khan was involved in ball-tampering in cricket and he did ball-tampering in cypher as well. "The party will decide about my participation in the election. It is our duty to protect the country," she maintained.
