TTP claims responsibility of attack in Peshawar: ISPR DG

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said Friday that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed the responsibility of the attack on Agriculture Training Institute in Peshawar earlier today. Briefing the details of the attack on Agriculture Training Institute in Peshawar, he said that the gunmen were continuously in contact with their handlers across the border in Afghanistan and the evidence of terrorism have been handed over to Afghanistan Military Operations Director General. Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the attack on Agriculture Training Institute in Peshawar was planned in Afghanistan. The ISPR DG went on to say that the terrorists reached Agriculture Training Institute  on rickshaw and the rickshaw driver could possibly be involved in the attack, adding that one of the body could be of the driver. The attackers have no relation with the Islam, he said, adding that there would have been much more damage in case of laziness in the operation.
