TTP has claimed responsibility of Anarkali bomb blast, says Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility of the Anarkali bomb blast.

Speaking on the floor of the Senate on Friday, he said that attacks were being carried out for a specific purpose. "Earlier, talks were being held with the banned TTP through the Taliban. Only 20km is remaining for fencing on the Pak-Afghan border," he added.

The minister said that he did not want to talk in detail on the Lahore attack. "I cannot tell where the terrorist stayed at night," he added.

He said that all departments are fully prepared and they have unified thinking.

Meanwhile, the opposition has submitted an adjournment motion against increasing incidents of terrorism, which will be discussed on Monday.
