Turkish ambassador calls on Afghan Deputy PM Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar

KABUL (Web Desk) – Turkey’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Cihad Erginay called on Taliban Deputy Prime Minister-I Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund on Thursday.

According to sources, Turkey has offered Afghanistan to improve security of Afghanistan and reconstruction of the Kabul Airport.

Afghan Deputy Prime Minister-II Abdul Salam Hanfi was also present during the meeting.

On Wednesday, Ambassador Cihad Erginay and Abdul Salam Hanafi had emphasized the strong bonds between Turkish and Afghan peoples and reaffirmed their commitments to further bolster the relations between the brotherly nations.

Erginay had also met with the Taliban’s Acting Commerce Minister Nooruddin Azizi in a bid to boost bilateral trade. “They (Erginary and Azizi) expressed their joint commitment to boosting bilateral trade volume as well as increasing industrial output and discussed ways to achieve these goals,” the Turkish embassy tweeted.
