Turkish CGS calls on COAS Bajwa, discusses regional security

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Turkish Chief of General Staff (CGS) General Hulusi Akar called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS)General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Wednesday. Matters related to regional security were discussed. The army chief emphasized the need to further enhance the existing military to military cooperation between the two armed forces. He said that enhanced Pak-Turk cooperation will have a positive impact on regional security. The Turkish CGS acknowledged Pakistan's efforts in fight against terrorism and appreciated launching of Operation Raddul Fasaad for elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.
