Turkish FM phones counterpart Qureshi, condemns Quetta terrorist incident

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu phoned Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and condemned the terrorist incident in Quetta. He expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in the incident. “Turkey appreciates Pakistan's efforts to bring down tension between Iran and the US and assures Islamabad of its complete support in regional peace efforts,” he said. The Turkish foreign minister apprised Shah Mahmood Qureshi of his analysis of the situation after recent visit to Iraq. Foreign Minister Qureshi informed his Turkish counterpart of his telephonic contact with Iraqi foreign minister. He also informed Mevlüt Çavusoglu of his upcoming visits to Iran, Saudi Arabia and the US to reduce tension in the Middle East.
