Turkish police frees six recovered Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Turkish police have on Tuesday released six Pakistanis, who were recovered from captivity of an Afghan group after formal documentation. In a statement the Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said that two recovered Pakistanis namely Faizan Ameen and Ashbar Ahmad met Counselor Dildar Abro in Istanbul, while Abid, Zeeshan and Usman are expected to meet today. Sources said that Usman refused to go back to Pakistan, while they are likely to be deported in a day or two. On the other hand, three more Pakistanis hailing from Sarai Alamgir and Mandi Bahaudin were kidnapped. According to initial information, their agent allegedly sold them to Afghan kidnappers and their video was sent to their heirs and demanded Rs 8 million in ransom. The mother of an abductee seeks government help in recovering her son.
