Two civilians martyred in unprovoked Indian firing across LoC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – At least two people were killed and a woman was injured when Indian troops targeted a funeral in a border village of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) from across the Line of Control (LoC) in the wee hours of Friday. In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian border forces continued unprovoked ceasefire violation and targeted a funeral in Chaffar village of Chirikot sector at the Line of Control. The statement said that two civilians embraced Shahadat while a woman got injured. Pakistan Army responded in a professional manner against the Indian posts. One Indian soldier was killed and five other injured in the retaliation. The Indian post was also destroyed.
