Two cops shot dead by unknown bikers in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (92 News) – Two policemen were shot dead by four unknown bikers in the Millat Town area on Friday. Constables Naseem and Khalid were on duty when the bikers opened fire on them. They died instantly. A nine-year-old child was severely injured. A heavy contingent of the police reached the spot, cordoned off the area and started investigations. Both the constables were on duty at a local mosque. Locals said that the motorcyclists were wearing shawls. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the incident and sympathies with the bereaved families. He also sought a report from DPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana.
