Two dangerous terrorists hanged in Sahiwal jail: ISPR

SAHIWAL (92 News) – Two dangerous terrorists were hanged in Shaiwal jail on Tuesday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Muhammad Shahid Umar and Fazal Haq were convicted by military courts.

The terrorists belonging to the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were involved in dangerous activities and murder of citizens.

The ISPR said that Shahid Umar was involved in attacks on Army, anti-polio teams.

Details of both terrorists are:

  1. Muhammad Shahid Omar S/O Zaman Khan. The convict was an active member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. He was involved in attacking armed forces of Pakistan, law enforcement agencies, polio vaccination team, employees of a non-governmental organization and killing of civilians. The convict admitted his offences before the magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
  2. Fazl e Haq S/O Shahdad. The convict was an active member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. He kidnapped and amputated hands of four police officials. He was also involved in killing of innocent civilians and attacking law enforcement agencies, which resulted in death of civilian Abdul Wahab and constable Saifur Rehman. The convict admitted his offences before the magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
