Two dead, nine injured as another two-storey building collapses in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Two people were killed and nine others injured when another building collapsed in Tonga Stand area, Lyari on Sunday. Locals said that the building collapsed because heavy machinery in a nearby building. Rangers and rescue officers reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospital. Efforts are going on to recover the people feared trapped under the debris. Karachi South Deputy Commissioner Arshad Ahmed said that the building was vacated several times, but the owner had rented it out. Only labourer were living in the building. In Sukkur, three people were injured  when the roof of a 'wuzu khana' (ablution place).
