Two death-row prisoners hanged in different jails

LAHORE (92 News) – At least two death-row prisoners convicted of murder were executed in different jails on Tuesday. As per details, a death-row prisoner Muhammad Anwar was hanged to death in Gujranwala Central Jail. Muhammad Anwar was convicted of murdering his wife and daughter over domestic dispute in 2002. On the other hand, a death-row prisoner Ansar Hayyat was hanged to death in Sargodha District Jail. Ansar Hayyat was convicted of murdering his rival in 1994. The death-row prisoners met their families for the last time. The bodies were handed over to the heirs.
